Attorney Debra Lynch Dubovich has been managing partner of the law firm of Levy & Dubovich since its formation in 1993. In 2013 and again in 2014, Levy & Dubovich was named one of the Best Law Firms as published in U.S. News & World Report. Attorney Dubovich is a Certified Family Law Specialist as certified by the Family Law Certification Board. She is also trained and certified in collaborative family law. Before attending law school, she did social work and those experiences provide her law practice with a different perspective.
Attorney Dubovich has been honored by Indiana Business Magazine as one of the Best Lawyers in Indiana (under the Family Law Section) every year from 2008 through 2014. In 2012, and in 2014, that publication identified her as one of the Top 25 Women Lawyers in the State of Indiana. She has also been repeatedly included in the list of Indiana Super Lawyers (Family Law). Yet, she is most proud of having been named by the Indiana First District Pro Bono Commission (now the NWI Volunteer Lawyers, Inc.) as the 2003 Outstanding Volunteer and the Outstanding Pro Bono Attorney for the 2007-2008 year.
Attorney Dubovich is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the Lake County Bar Association, and the Porter County Inn of Court; an amicus member of the National Association of Women Judges; and a founding member of the Women Lawyers Association, serving on various committees with all of those organizations. She is past president of the Women Lawyers Association and is an Indiana State Bar Fellow. She is currently the Chair of the Lake County Bar, Family Law Section and Treasurer of the Indiana State Bar Association, Family Law Section.
